Construction of Heating Elements : |
- U -Tube Heating Elements
These are manufactured from Nichrome 80-20 wire. They are then sheathed within the appropriate tubing which is filled with MgO magnesium oxide powder. The tubing is passed through rolling machine so that the magnesium powder is compacted. Elements are sealed by special UL approved sealants to prevent moisture ingress.
- Core Type Tubular Elements
Electric coils are laid in special ceramic insulators and are inserted into suitable sheath type E.g. S.S pockets. This allows replacement of individual heaters without emptying the tank or stoping the process.
- Sheath Type
